Rectory Road is off the old A120 Harwich Road which runs parallel to the new A120. From the Colchester direction you will pass the slip road to Clacton-­on-­Sea (A133), after around 1⁄2 mile you come to a roundabout, take the 2nd exit. After 1⁄2 mile take a right at the small triangle junction, less than 1⁄4 mile and the field entrance is on your right. Take care to avoid the concrete blocks, if the bollard is up, check if it's locked, if not knock it down and proceed on to the field. Usually we fly in the big field, go left between the fence posts, keeping to the field edge.

From the Harwich direction you will come to a roundabout with a large white water tower on the right, stay on the A120 towards Colchester. After 1.4 km take the turning to Lt. Bentley on the left, after 200m take the turning on the right. After 750m take the left turning at the triangle junction, 300m and the field entrance is on your right.
